STANDARDS, STANDARDS, STANDARDS, STANDARDS, STANDARDS, STANDARDS,

Balloon Décor is an art form and as such demands several years of practical experience and dedication to perfect. Here at Balloon Arcade and at our Sister company Ace Balloons, we are passionate about the  business we are in and
the standard of presentation upon which we have built our reputation over a great number of years.

Certified Balloon Artist designers have completed and passed the CBA programme, the most respected certification in the industry. CBA designers are proven experts, dedicated professionals, and use only the finest quality products. We are also proud to be in the Qualatex Balloon Network which unites and supports businesses that offer value-added balloon designs featuring Qualatex® products. We are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in balloon gifts, bouquets, and decor. QBN members are committed to sound and honourable business practices, continuing education, and the belief that balloons create atmosphere and communicate emotion in a uniquely effective way. We believe that the high quality of the products we sell and professionalism in the services we offer provide superior  value to our customers and form the foundation for the future success of businesses  that feature value-added balloon designs.

Unfortunately, as is with most professions ours is not without it's “Cowboy operators”  who judging by the end results appear to have little or no apparent training whatsoever. We often hear of people who have been very badly let down time and time again by  people who insist upon calling themselves balloon decorators without any industry recognised qualifications but offer very little apart from heartache when the job is not done to an acceptable standard or not even carried out at all.

Less reputable companies sometimes work - evidently, by under inflating balloons, where they use less gas or by using sub standard balloons which enables them to charge less for their work. It is wise then to ignore untrained operators who have shown no initiative to study or undertake exams with the two recognised professional trade organisations and then take the liberty to indicate that they will save you money. The end result  will most likely be badly shaped balloons and a display which will start to wilt very early - needless to say the gas to balloon ratio is vital for longevity.

For Balloon Arcade, cutting corners is not an option as this practice does nothing but harm to the the industry we are involved in and operators such as these should be avoided at all costs, at the end of the day it will be you that is taken for a ride.

We care about what we do because we want you to enjoy the end product and most importantly because we also care about you and want to retain your custom now and in the future.

Balloon Arcade would like to offer you a "thought"

It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money... that is all.

When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.. it can’t be done.

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

John Ruskin 1819 – 1900

Our advice would be, choose a professional decorator for your special function, please don't make do with second best. Ask to see photographs of their work and for written references.
