| From
time to time we are asked to create displays for very special events, this
sometimes involves Balloon Arcade in working with the media, BBC, Granada
/ London Weekend Television for example. Our most recent involvement
was in association with local Wedding Consultants, Wedding Daze and it
required us to provide balloon décor
for the entrance stairway and the
dining room at Upton House near Poole. |

Upton House is one of the most
interesting houses in Dorset. The House overlooks Poole Harbour, and a
corridor of lawns free of trees gives a superb view of Poole Harbour, The
venue is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and is a wonderful
venue for a reception. |

|
| Upton
House then was the setting for a ' Dream Wedding '
for a local couple and
where the reception was laid on by Wedding Daze and their
recommended suppliers and the whole proceedings filmed by Living Television for
their Dream Makers programme which was aired in July 2002. |
|
|
| Early
morning saw the arrival of everyone involved in preparing the reception
for the special day, from the Florist, to the Caterer,
Musicians, Scottish Piper and even a mobile Bar and Casino, everything in
fact to make a perfect day, indeed every aspect that could be imagined in
setting up a reception that most brides could only dream about, a
veritable hive of activity. |

| Ours was
just a part of a huge operation that involved many people who helped make
the day very special. Here
are some of the photographs taken of the décor
that we were involved in and some of the work of our fellow suppliers
where Sunflowers dominated the scene. |
